Besides being historically significant to the Trail of Tears, the park is now a regular destination for mountain bike and fishing enthusiasts. The area is spread between Knob Creek and the Duck River, making it a great place for pets to exercise during the summer.
Chickasaw Trace Park has two pavilions, one playground, one restroom, an RC flying field, RC car track, and Duck River access. It's over 8 miles of a mountain bike and hiking trails. Moreover, it's home to the Derryberry Log Cabin, which is also available for reservation.

Chickasaw Trace is an excellent trail with a little something for everyone. It is maintained by locals from the Columbia Cycling Club. Moreover, the first few miles are beginner-intermediate, nice single track.
The Trail of Tears gets tougher and has a couple of climbs that may prove pretty challenging to you, depending on your fitness level.
