Keeping Communication Streamlined: A Guide for Real Estate Photographer Pro LLC Freelancers

Welcome to the team! At Real Estate Photographer Pro LLC, we believe that clear and efficient communication is key to our success. To keep things running smoothly and allow you to focus on what you do best—photography—we've established a few guidelines for communicating with real estate agents.

Our Core Policy:

All administrative communication, including scheduling, order details, and general inquiries, must flow through our central office. Please direct all agents to the following email address: support@realestatephotographerpro.com. This ensures that we can handle all administrative tasks on your behalf, preventing you from getting bogged down in details and allowing you to focus on your photography. This email is usually best because it comes into our cell phones and there are several people monitoring it.

So if it's an emergency and you need a fast response, you can text or call Kenneth at 615-310-7171. Provide details on the topic, and we will contact the real estate agent.

When You Might Need to Contact an Agent Directly (Emergency Situations Only):

There will be rare occasions when you need to contact a real estate agent directly. This should only be for urgent, on-site issues that cannot wait for a response from the central office.

Examples of Emergency Situations:

  • You've arrived at the property, but you're unable to enter because the lockbox code isn't working.

  • The property is not ready for the shoot (e.g., furniture is still being moved, a room is being painted, etc.).

  • You are running 10-15 minutes late due to unavoidable traffic and need to give the agent a quick heads-up.

How to Handle Direct Communication While Protecting Your Privacy:

We ask that you never share your phone number with an agent. This helps protect your privacy and keeps all professional communication streamlined. If you need to call or text an agent in an emergency, please use one of the following methods to hide your number.

Simple Steps to Hide Your Phone Number

When Making a Call:

The easiest way to hide your number for a single call is to use a simple prefix.

  • For most phones in the US and Canada: Dial *67 before the agent's phone number.

    • Example: If the agent's number is 555-123-4567, you would dial *67-555-123-4567.

  • The agent's phone will display "Private," "Blocked," or "Unknown" instead of your number.

When Sending a Text:

Unfortunately, there's no simple prefix like *67 for text messages. If you need to send a text, a "burner" app is the best option for privacy. These apps provide a temporary, secondary phone number for making calls and sending texts.

  • Recommended Apps: Apps like Burner or Hushed are designed for this purpose.

Necessary Protocol for All Direct Communication:

Even when your number is hidden, it's crucial to identify yourself so the agent knows who is contacting them. After every call or text, please state your name and that you are with Real Estate Photographer Pro LLC.

  • Example for a Call: "Hi, this is [Your Name], the photographer with Real Estate Photographer Pro. I've arrived at the property, but the key isn't in the lockbox. Can you advise?"

  • Example for a Text: "Hi, this is [Your Name], the photographer with Real Estate Photographer Pro. I'm running about 10 minutes behind schedule. I'll be there shortly."

Important Note: While these methods can help protect your privacy, they should not be used for illegal or malicious purposes, such as harassment or fraud. In many places, it is unlawful to use caller ID blocking to harm, defraud, or make harassing calls.
