Dixie Oaks Golf Club is a mountain course, just without the mountain in Summertown, Tennessee. Dick Gross designed it. Construction started in 1994, and the full 18-hole course opened in 1996.

The quaint design offers five tee options for each golfer. It measures a mere 6,550 meters from the back shirts. Exclusive to Dixie Oaks, the terrain has zero sand traps. But don't let that deceive you: the course has a lot of bites. Among the undulating terrain, mature tree-lined streets, occasional water hazards, and greens that demand precision, you'll play in every club in your bag and enjoy every minute.

Summertown is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Lawrence County, Tennessee, with a small portion in both Lewis County and Maury County. The population of Summertown was 866 at the 2010 census.

"Played here for the first (of many times) time yesterday and loved it! Short course, hilly, challenges iron play. Greens are smaller, but again challenges that second shot. The course was in great condition, especially for the price you pay to play (it's cheap). I just really enjoyed it and will def be back!"

"The course is fun and challenging for any level player. Greens were in great shape."
